When criminals thought that they could simply run away from the long arms of justice, well its arms had extender longer even on cyberspace.

Police authorities on Tuesday arrested Mark Dizon, 28, linked to a series of murder and robbery incidents in Angeles City, Pampanga with the help of social networking giant, Facebook.

Dizon who is a computer technician is accused of killing and robbing a least nine people, six of which are Filipinos and three are foreign nationals (American, Canadian and Briton) all happening in just a span of a few months.

Police authorities tracked the suspect due to his fondness of computers and as investigators try to collect evidence and clue to the arrest of the suspect, they were led to check on Facebook.  A family member of one of the victim approached investigators after finding out that one of his Facebook friends (Dizon) has the same description of the purported suspect.  Investigators then checked the profile of Dizon and of the witnesses confirmed that the person on the photo is the suspect to the series of murders.
