INC Endorses Noynoy Aquino and Mar Roxas, Senatorial List
One of the largest religious groups in the Philippines has already spoken of their bet days before the May 2010 elections.
Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) endorses the tandem of Liberal Party’s Noynoy Aquino and Mar Roxas for the presidential and vice-presidential race.
The religious group has been proven to practice block voting and is expected to deliver up to 2 million votes. Previously, INC endorsed the candidacies of Joseph Estrada, Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo and both won the elections.
INC’s endorsement came from their Executive Minister Eduardo Manalo.
INC’s Senatorial Endorsement  List:
“Rozzano Rufino Biazon (LP), Ramon Revilla Jr. (Lakas-Kampi-CMD), Pilar Juliana Cayetano (NP), Miriam Santiago (PRP), Franklin Drilon (LP), Juan Ponce Enrile (PMP), Jose “Jinggoy” Estrada (PMP), Teofisto Guingona III (LP), Manuel “Lito” Lapid (Lakas-Kampi-CMD), Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos (NP), Ralph Recto (LP), and Vicente “Tito” Sotto III.â€
(Their senatorial list is the still the same old men and mostly “trapos”)
Noynoy Aquino admitted that he had met Eduardo Manalo thrice this year.
Will this endorsement be already what we can call the turning point of the fight for the presidency?

One word about the list of senators who got INC endorsement: lackluster. Most of them anyway. Pa-copy nga ng kodigo mo, bro.

pati ba local candidates sila ang nag de-decide? Pano kaya ang selection process nila. Pasensiya na po, di kasi ako religious. BTW, I respect their beliefs.

Last April 27, 2010, I wrote a post entitled “Bloggers’ Choice This Coming 2010 Election “and this post contained a poll. The poll is about who among the candidates running for president and vice-president were chosen by different Filipino bloggers. I want to thank the bloggers who voted, participated and commented on this poll, as a matter of fact, a total of 211 bloggers participated. As of 1:45 p.m today, May 7, 2010, I officially closed the poll, and now I present to you the results. Please click the link

With regard to the vice presidential race, Binay leads Mar Roxas by less than a million votes. Anything can still happen, of course. But why do I have this feeling that Chiz Escudoro’s endorsement – Noynoy and Binay – had a much potent impact than the INC endorsement of Noynoy and Mar?
Mas may clout ba si Mr. Escudero than INC? I’m not discounting of course that the early results is a by-product of confluence of factors because that may well reasonably explain this amazing strong showing of Binay.
Whatever. The fact remains the VP race has made this election sustain great interest. Very interesting talaga.
Your favorite whipping boy Villar has conceded. Don’t you feel a little kurot of guilt you’ve contributed to his downfall? Ahahaha. Just kidding, ikaw naman.
Cheers.
