Mayweather’s day is never complete if he cannot open his big mouth and utter obscenities.
Though he will be facing Shane Mosley on May 1, 2010, he still had the time to aim his trash talk with pound-for-pound king Manny Pacquiao. Floyd Mayweather is now questioning the achievements of Pacquiao considered as a boxing great downplaying the latter’s big wins against Cotto and Ricky Hatton. He also said that Pacquiao suffered defeats while he is undefeated.
“He beat a Miguel Cotto who got pummeled with a cast and he beat a Ricky Hatton that got stretched by me… That’s not for me to put him in the Hall of Fame.â€
Pacquiao defeated Ricky Hatton with a TKO in round two while Mayweather defeated the English fighter on 10 rounds; and Pacquiao defeated Miguel Cotto in round 11 after the referee stopped the fight.
Mayweather continued,
“Manny Pacquiao struggled twice, which we really know he got beat, struggled twice with Marquez, which we know he really lost. Right? And we know he been knocked out twice and he got outboxed by Erik Morales, but then they still give him Boxer of the Decade. So that’s another thing I don’t understand.â€
Most recently during the Mayweather-Mosley HBO 24/7 episode, Floyd said that he is even greater than Muhammad Ali and Sugar Ray Robinson.
