During many presidential debates and fora, almost always this question is never missed to be thrown out on aspiring candidates, and as usual, their advisers and campaign strategists had already prepared their answer to awe the mind and tickle the guts of the voters.
“If you will be the one who will win to become the next President of the Republic of the Philippines, what will be the first thing or act that you will implement in the government?â€
Sounds worn out, yet the question still has a great value for voters and the general public as to the direction that the next administration is going to lead us to; promise land or burning pit.

If I were to become President my first concern is to get Ms. Kris Aquino as Chief of Staff or presidential spokesman. Wala lang. Ahehehe. O, kayo naman, ano plano nyo?

If elected President my first order of business is to “reach out” to our underprivileged and exploited fellowmen by inviting to a “State Dinner” all the female workers in the bars along Quezon Ave., Makati Ave. and Airport Rd. and listen to their pleas one-by-one.
When I am done with that I will go to Baguio, have all the Marijuanna plantations’ crops seized, assemble them in Burnham Park and burn them to the ground in front of the local populace for all to see (and snort).
Trust me, I have seen how effective this was during my high school years there in the highlands.
Another major concern is that I will regretfully have to declare the town of San Martin (wherever that is) under Martial Law due to the weirdness of it being the lone victim of all super villain and demon attacks this past year.
Lastly, I will forever ban Barney and Teletubbies from Philippine television.

Well, if I’m elected President of the Philippines, I’d, like, make sure that everyone had a map. Because not everyone can read maps. And they should have one, because then they would know, you know, where things were. You know poor children in the U.S. don’t have maps. That’s why they can’t find the Philippines on one. Because we should send them a map. And maybe then they could see Sarah Palin’s back yard. In the far north Philippines. Although really, why they’d want to, I don’t know. But everyone should have a map. Thank you.

Oh!!! Is THAT it? Here we thought it was just because your geography teachers were better than ours. Guess I’ll have to go into the schools and do a better job of promoting Balut, volcanoes, beautiful islands… hehe, well, you come to Houston and I’ll take you out for a good Texas steak. “Real” American hamburger you should be able to find there – surely you have McDonald’s? I think the only places they don’t serve “real” hamburgers are Paris, the U.K., and India. Or try Burger King – you have BK? The burgers we got there in Istanbul were pretty much the same thing I can get down the street from where I live. And yes, there is something seriously wrong with going to BK when you’ve traveled halfway around the world to Istanbul, but we were hungry and in a hurry.
We didn’t eat there most days, but in a weak moment, we ended up having lunch at BK and drinks at Starbucks. They’re ubiquitous!!
