By nature anyone could be a chameleon, but I share most of my sentiments with our Elmot, yes, I respect everyone’s opinion so learn to respect ours okay, you may try to point different reasons or pose researches but we still have our minds and thoughts to bare, and I believe mine will never be swayed by semi-nice platforms dedicated for the poor not dedicated for change. Truly, people will have their weaknesses or errors but somehow, just doing what our Political VP did, really did leave a bad impression to several people. I won’t deny she help but I won’t acknowledge her as the most suited, I won’t bring up someone too since none of them seems to be deserving, but shake-up a bit and you’ll see by nature all of our politicians needs to do the “BALIMBING” stuff for survival…

loren is definitely the trapo you can catch at any point in time. i was in cebu last week and i chanced meeting her at sm city cebu. we asked if is it ok to get a picture with her.

@ELMOT if i were you try to make some research about Loren Legarda on the issue regarding c-5 road case of Manny Villar.
Villar came under siege because of the C-5 Road extension project issue from which he was later cleared and absolved of any shenanigans.Legarda was among those who called for an investigation when the issue first surfaced. But when the report came out and there were not even any hint of irregularity, she signed Senate Resolution 1472 with 11 other Senators clearing Villar.She was one of those who called for Villarâ€™s resignation as Senate President exactly a year ago today, yet she has never attacked Villar personally, and now that his innocence has been established, has even built an alliance with him. â€œI donâ€™t even call that criticism. In a democracy, you allow all views to come out so that we can listen to all views.â€ Of all candidates in the coming 2010 presidential derby, Legarda is the most qualified to be President, yet sheâ€™s running only for Vice President â€“ and her critics call her Political chameleon. Loren Legarda, the most formidable opposition VP candidate, joins forces with an opposition presidential candidate â€“ yet her critics call her a â€œpolitical butterfly.â€
It shows the extent to which her political opponents would grab straws to attack her. It shows just how scared they are. In an honest election, they have every reason to be.

Thanks Sheenalady29 for your “overzealousness” for Loren Legarda.

But I think it is being mature enough that I have come to write this post about Loren being a political chameleon.

Having the same platform and advocacy with Manny Villar? Duh, even as a guest candidate, still it does not hold any morsel of being an immaculate vp candidate for Loren. She once told the senate and the people that she denounce and will prosecute Manny V’s double entry and “corruption” over the C-5 road…all of a sudden she coalesced with the man she is trying to denounce? What do you call that, a conversation on the road to Tarsus? That is a lame political candidate that only lives on political survival.

Maybe Loren needs to grow up.

I think, hinde tama na sabihan si Senator Loren Legarda na Poltical Chameleon, why because hinde po kasalan ni Senator Loren na sya ang pinag-aagawan…In my own points of view, isang mahusay na senador si Senator Loren, a good public servant,very dedicated sa kanya tungkulin, kaya ISA sya sa deserving na Maging Vice-President ng ating bansa, at isa rin dahilan kung bakit SIya kinuha ni Manny Villar.. MAlinaw na HINDE LUMIPAT O NAGPALIT NG PARTIDO SI SENATOR LEGARDA, she was a guest candidate of the NPC, bakit kailangang bigyan pa masamang article about doon? If you could read the interviewed of Senator Villar and Senator Legarda what is the reason for their tandem, we should be proud na ang kanilang adhikain at plataporma ay para sa pagtulong sa ikakaunlad ng ating bansa, pag-ahon sa kahirapan at pagbibigay pag-asa sa ating bansa. It doesn’t mean na sya ang kinuhang Vice-President magbabago na sya ng loyalty,and lalo na magbabago ang pinag-kakautangan ng loob..!!! I don’t get it.You got a wrong idea elmot! Grow up!

As maybe I shared already, there is no problem or big deal when one politician shares a common passion or advocacy with another politician; I think it is even better. What leaves a bad taste in the mouth, is when a politician advocates the prosecution and denounces the acts of another politicians and then in the end, actually ends up having a tandem with that person she denounced. That is real bad…that is traditional politics…that is palipat-lipat, for the sake of one’s personal political glory up to the extent of even going against one’s advocacy (in this case denouncing the villar with the C-5 controversy he is embroiled with)? Tsk, tsk, tsk
