I think this traffic thing is everywhere, in all parts and corners of the globe. There are just so many ways that each unique culture respond to this road problem.

Wow, those taxis in your place are nasty, ehehhe! And having arguments with taxi drivers or public vehicles is just an exercise in futility. You will be just the one to end up on the wrong side of the road when you get a fight with this kind of people.

Wow, this was an interesting read. I can relate to some of your experiences. Here in South Africa, peak traffic hours is a nightmare and you are bound to get the middle finger or be shouted at.

We have taxi that think they own the road and we have to always give way. Sometime I wish a had a big bakkie with a bull bar and tow bar, then they would not mess with me. I guess I love my car to much to try and prove a point with taxi drivers, it’s pointless.

hi, yup i agree with your post on what doc z hates to see on the road when going to work. personally, i really hate taxi and jeepney drivers, they all want to be the first everywhere, intersections, jeepney stops, even on traffic jams, they counterflow and cut the vehicle in front who deserves to go first. and you are right about tricycles, they never stop when they see you backing up, they speed up and hopes for you to see them so you will eventually stop and let them all pass.
